Since 1907, the London General Omnibus Company (abbreviated as LGOC) began to produce its own buses. The most popular of these was Type B, which appeared in 1911. The chassis for this model was borrowed from the famous English manufacturer of commercial vehicles - the company AEC (Associated Equipment Company).
The wooden body was manufactured by Blington Coachworks. It was two-story, with the upper floor - imperial - open. In the lower salon there were soft sofas installed sideways to the movement. And on the "upper deck" were mounted rigid double benches, unfolded facing the movement.
