Renault Taxi de la Marne (Renault Type AG, Marne Taxi) is a middle-class car produced by the French automaker Renault from 1905 to 1910 and used as a taxi. The car received its nickname during the First World War, when in September 1914, 1,300 Parisian Renault AG-1 (or Renault Type AG - the official name of the car) were used by the French army, led by General Joseph Gallieni, to transport 6,000 soldiers from Paris to battle by the river Marne, on which the French troops were able to win thanks to this car.
