SY Polonaise - Polish yacht, ketch Bermuda, where Krzysztof Baranowski circumnavigate around the world in the years 1972-1973.

History and cruises

Yacht Polonaise designed and built in the Szczecin Shipyard Marine Yacht them. Leonid Teliga by Edward Hofman and Kazimierz Jaworski. Captain Christopher Baranowski, the Polonaise in 1972 he took part in the regatta Ostara'72. Later on that boat sailed around the world alone (1972-1973). In 1973 year a boat was sent to the Yacht Club Maritime University of Szczecin. In the years 1 976-1 977 Captain Baranowski, wife and children sailed on the Great Lakes and the Mississippi and the Atlantic returned to the country's Polonaise. WSM Szczecin, former owner units in 1987 sold it to businessman year Grobelnemu Lech, who started his rebuilding for yacht tourism. Polonaise was wyslipowany for over 20 years. In the meantime, bought it Szczecin Shipyard, but not invested in the completion of its reconstruction.

In the XXI century has been acquired by the Warsaw developer company Wlodarzewska SA, completely renovated, and during the celebration of Sea Days in Szczecin, 13 June 2008 in the chair. 13 solemnly raised to him again the Polish flag.
