B-TYPE military bus - a bus created on the basis of a civil passenger bus. In total, about 900 buses were used to move troops along the front lines during the First World War. After they initially served without any modifications, they were red and white, but subsequently they were painted in khaki. It was soon found that glass windows on the lower deck are prone to breakage, mainly from contact with rifles and equipment. Therefore, the glass was removed and replaced with boards nailed to the sides of the car.

The B-Type could carry 24 fully equipped infantry fighters. Some buses were turned into mobile pigeon lofts to house carrier pigeons. They served until the end of the war, when they were used to bring troops home.
