Attack aircraft "Breda Ba.88 Lince" was designed in 1936. It was an all-metal monoplane with two motors. The first batch of aircraft - 88 pieces - was assembled in 1939. In June 1940, the plane took part in the hostilities in France as an attack aircraft of airfields. Insufficient engine power and other technical shortcomings significantly limited the use of these aircraft. By 1943, their production was discontinued. Until the end of the war, the Breda Ba.88 Lince was used most often as decoys on Italian airfields (with removed engines and weapons) and, on rare occasions, as reconnaissance aircraft.
