the legendary "Katyusha" model. Mobile, jet mortars BM-8 (82 mm) and BM-13 (132 mm) were widely used in the Soviet Union during World War II. Initially launchers BM-13 mounted on the chassis of the ZIS-5, but the use of such chassis has been recognized unsuccessful, and it was replaced with the ZIS-6. Subsequently, the BM-13 is only installed on Studebaker (Studebacker-US6). In total, until the end of about 1,800 such weapons were produced World War II. This model is the prototype of the Guards mortar BM-13 "Katyusha" on Studebaker platform (Studebacker-US6).
