The Russian sail-screw frigate "Oleg" was laid down at the Kronstadt shipyard on January 29, 1858, and launched on June 4, 1860. He died in August 1869 in a training sailing squadron in the Gulf of Finland between the islands of Gogland and Sommers. During the rebuilding of the squadron, the Kremlin armored battery, colliding with the frigate Oleg, hit with its sharp ram in its side near the engine room. Currently, the ship lies at a depth of 56 meters and has almost no serious damage.
