In the mid 60-ies in the USSR CKB "Almaz" developed the project boundary cutters for closed seas - Project 1400 (code "Grief", by NATO classification «Zhuk»). The artillery boat "Skadovsk" was built in Feodosia and launched in 1990. After the collapse of the USSR was included in the Naval Forces of Ukraine. Currently, "Skadovsk" is part of the Division of ships of protection and Western naval base in Ukraine. Boat PSKA-545 is part of the Black Sea-Azov Border Control Coast Guard FSB of the Russian Federation.
