The Friedrich der Grosse (German SMS Friedrich der GroÃe) is the second ship of the Kaiser type. Named after King of Prussia Frederick II the Great. Built at the AG Vulkan factory in Hamburg in 1910-1912. Until 1917, it was the flagship of the High Seas Fleet. The battleship participated in all major operations of the First World War, including the Battle of Jutland on May 31-June 1, 1916. Located in the center of the German line, the Friedrich der Grosse emerged from the battle completely unscathed. In 1917, as the flagship of the German fleet, he was replaced by the new battleship Baden.
A large, interesting, but rather complex model. A large number of parts will allow you to collect a very accurate copy of the ship. The model is designed for experienced modelers.
