Since 1985 it has been part of the USSR Black Sea Fleet, performing tasks to practice landing operations and serving in the Mediterranean Sea. During the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation, on the night of March 6, 2014 it was blocked together with 6 other warships of the Ukrainian Navy in the Donuzlav Bay. On March 24, 2014, "Konstantin Olshansky" was captured by Russian servicemen.
The model has two versions of the ship number: the number for the USSR period and the number for the period when the ship was part of the Ukrainian Navy. The level of detail is quite high, therefore, we recommend this model to experienced modelers.
