The launch of the production of this model took place in 1984 at the facilities of the Bryansk Arsenal plant. Like most similar equipment, DZ-143 was used in works on the construction of subgrade roads, site planning, and the creation of embankments. With its help it was possible to mix soil with additives on the roadbed. Another function is the maintenance of the roadway and roadsides, snow removal.
