The Presque Isle is on Lake Erie in Pennsylvania. Construction began in 1872, the fire was first lighted on July 12, 1873. Originally the height of the tower was 40 feet (12 m), to its current height was increased in 1896. In 1962 the station was fully automated. The Presque Isle Lighthouse was included in the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 and was open to visits.

A simple but very interesting model of the lighthouse will have to taste to all fans of architecture.
