Anxiety

This morning I woke up and read the news that yesterday there was a telephone conversation between Trump and Putin about ending the war.
I also read what Trump said at the briefing, and what the terrorussian side said after that call.

On the one hand, my optimistic nature is happy.
I see a potential end to the war.
The long-awaited end to this exhausting struggle for existence.

But on the other hand, when I think about it deeper, I immediately understand that everything is pretty bad.
I feel depressed. I am pessimistic inside. I understand that Putler is winning.
He waited for this moment so long, for recognition of his greatness.
His aggression is paying off. The leader of the United States called him, thereby elevating Putler to the rank of great leaders of the world.

At the briefing after this telephone conversation, Trump was directly asked: Do you even consider Ukraine as an equal participant in peace negotiations?
Donald dodged and answered: Interesting question: I think Ukraine will have to make peace.

Putler always refuses to recognize Ukraine's subjectivity.

He always says that he has nothing to negotiate with some Ukraine.
He needs to negotiate with an allegedly equal subject. Between russia and the United States.

And these agreements will not be in Ukraine's favor.

All this makes Putler even more confident that he can do whatever he wants and nothing will happen to him for it.
The big guys will agree among themselves, eating the little ones around them.

The US's claims to Ukraine's rare earth resources in exchange for the assistance already provided only convince me that it is nothing personal, it is just business.
Nobody cares about justice and people lives. Everyone is only concerned with their own interests.
A drowning man must first confirm his solvency or show he will have something to pay for his rescue.

In general, having analyzed the latest events, I immersed myself in thoughts about the future - I understand that I, my family, my friends, and all of Ukraine are just plankton, food for bigger fishes, who will either take their own with blackmail and threats or leave you to die on the sidelines.
And we are on the sidelines from Putler's side.
It seems to me that Trump is not interested in Ukraine or the victory of justice.
He needs to come to an agreement with Putler so that the war ends and that's it.

But Putin is war. His life and all his interests are in capturing and conquering others

The economy and welfare of his citizens are a bore for him.
He is an imperialist. His interest is in capturing and enslaving his neighbors.

Therefore, appeasing the beast will not lead to anything good.

Or you punch him in the teeth and then he will think twice before doing something like that again.
Or you appease the beast, call him your friend and good guy, and agree on joint visits, thereby encouraging and assuring impunity.
But when you give the beast what he wants - expect that soon he will need more.

It seems that we are expecting a second Munich Agreement of 1938.

Then they did not guess what would happen next.
But we know what happens when you feed a tiger while you are in the same cage with it.

Hope I'm wrong.
