Church of the Savior on Mount Nereditsa - the Church of the Transfiguration, located 1.5 km south of Veliky Novgorod on the right bank of the former channel of Maly Volkhovets, on a small hill. The Church of the Savior on Nereditsa was erected in 1198 under the prince of Novgorod, Yaroslav Vladimirovich. At present, except occasionally performed prayers, services are not held. Opened as a museum object. By decision of UNESCO, in 1992 the Church of the Savior on Nereditsa was included in the World Heritage List.
