FS 34095 Medium Field Green Color Guide:
FS 34095 Medium Field Green was introduced as a new camouflage color for USMC helicopters in early 1977. It was a low infrared reflective, non-spectacular paint that replaced Field Green FS 34097 and then FS 14097, which had been widely used previously for camouflage of US Marine Corps helicopters. This scheme lasted until 1985 when it was replaced by a new multi-color wraparound Land camouflage.
FS 34095 Medium Field Green continued its use as one of the colors of the USMC Land camouflage scheme introduced in 1985. In addition to FS 34095 Medium Field Green, this scheme also included the camouflage patches of Black FS 37038 and Blue Gray FS 35237. This wraparound camouflage was applied to both the upper and lower surfaces of the aircraft. In 1993, this scheme was discontinued and replaced by more modern gray tactical camouflage.
