An authentic WW2 aircraft Soviet insignia red color (Rus: Red [ˈkrasnɨj], meaning literally: Red).
The A II Cr. Red color was widely used in the Soviet Air Force for the painting of aircraft insignia, roundels, stencils, and markings from the second half of the 1930s.
A II Kr. Red was also widely used for painting victory marks, gift inscriptions, and nose art on Soviet aircraft in the middle of WW2.
Note that A II Cr. Red was applied on only wooden or mixed-construction aircraft, while all-metal aircraft insignia was painted with its analog A-13 Red.
