The Borgward B3000 was a family of standardized 3-ton trucks produced by the German manufacturer Carl FW Borgward GmbH as medium-duty trucks in the Wehrmacht supply system. Widely used beginning in the Balkan Campaign of 1941, the B3000 played a role in logistics in various theaters of war, including the African and Northern Fronts. Luftwaffe units also used it for airfield support, and its towing capabilities increased its versatility in interdepartmental transport missions. By 1944, approximately 30,000 of these trucks had been built, underscoring the scale of the program aimed at developing German logistics during the war. The Borgward B3000 complemented vehicles such as the Opel Blitz and Mercedes L3000, providing modular logistics in motorized convoys.
