Hiller HJ-1 Hornet had a rotor propeller drive. At the tip of each of its two blades, a ramjet engine (ramjet) Hiller 8RJ2B was installed.
The helicopter was built in the amount of fourteen copies (versions of the modifications HJ-1, YH-32, YH-32A, YH-32s, XHOE-1) and passed static and flight tests.
The main drawback of the helicopter was a high and inefficient fuel consumption and, as a result, a short flight range: only 45-50 km with a fuel capacity of 200 liters, which was approximately half an hour of flight. In addition, the torches of the engines blinded the pilot at night and made the helicopter easily visible from afar. Engine noise was also very high.
All these factors led to the failure of the military (and possible civilian) customers to purchase a helicopter. In total, by 1956, fourteen cars were built, several of them are now in US museums.

sprues with parts
decal (sticker)
frames of transparent plastic (canopy)
