RAL 8002 Earth Yellow Color Guide:
RAL 8002 Earth Yellow was officially in 1933 according to H.Dv. 488/1 of 20 April 1933.
Erdgelb Nr. 17 (later RAL 8002 ) was used in the Buntfarbenanstrich camouflage in Jun. 1922 Jul. 1937 along with Grün Nr. 28, and Braun Nr. 18. The color patches of this camouflage were outlined with Schwarz Nr. 5.
Some sources claim that from mid-1937 to early 1943 Erdgelb Nr. 17 could be used to apply camouflage patches on 1/3 of vehicle surfaces painted in Dunkelgrau Nr. 46 according to the Wehrmacht 2-tone camouflage of the time.
