A II St. Gol. Light blue
A high-quality semi-gloss Soviet early-WW2 aircraft under-surface light blue acrylic or enamel paint for scale models and historical miniatures.
A II Sv. Gol. Light Blue Color Guide:
An authentic Air Force early-WW2 Soviet aircraft under-surface light blue color (Rus: Light Blue [svʲɪˈtloɡɐˈlubəj], meaning literally: Light Blue).
A II St. Gol. Light Blue was introduced in 1940 for the lower-surface camouflage of Soviet aircraft. Upper surfaces were painted A II Def. Protective in accordance with this camouflage pattern.
As with most "A II" paints, A II Sv. Gol. Light Blue was used only for wooden or fabric parts of the plane. Metal parts were painted with its enamel analog A-18f Blue.
In 1941, the A II St. Gol. Light Blue was replaced by its successor AMT-7 Blue which was widely used for the lower surface aircraft camouflage until the end of WW2.
