The service ceiling was 21000 m. During the period 1957-1962 the Novosybirsky Plant named after Chkalov has produced 888 Su-9 of various modifications. The Moscow Plant # 30 has built 126 Su-9 fighters. The test version of Su-9 was built in 1960. |
