The short S.4 Satellite was a small British two-seat sports monoplane manufactured in 1924 to take part in a competition from the UK Department of Aviation for a light two-seat aircraft (Two-Seater Light Aeroplane competition). At the competition, it was run by the chief test pilot of the company J. Lancaster Parker.
Over the two years of the existence of the aircraft, it was constantly improved.
The S.4 Satellite was jokingly called the Parker Tin Kettle because he often flew on an airplane.
