The Diamond DA-42 Twin Star is a four-seat twin-engine turboprop aircraft for private use. Very often used as an air taxi. It is also used as an aircraft for aerial photography and video shooting, aerial reconnaissance (DA model - 42MPP). The body of the aircraft is made of carbon composite materials. The Diamond DA-42 Twin Star is the first diesel-powered aircraft to fly non-stop across the North Atlantic for 28 hours at an average fuel consumption of 11.2 gallons per hour. DA-42 Twin Star, the first certified vehicle with two diesel units on board. The aircraft received its certificate in May 2004.
