The first commercial version of NR.137, developed by Handley Page, was the Jetstream 200 - a conventional low-density all-metal design. The three-axle chassis was retracted using a hydraulic drive, a sealed cabin accommodated a crew of two people and up to 18 passengers, and the passenger compartment was distinguished by a high level of comfort.
