In 1933, the workshop of the operational commands of the composition (military warehouse) No. 60 developed an improved version of a light armored platform. The frame of a 4-axle 50-ton carriage on Diamond bogies was now used as a basis (the Bryansk plant Krasny Profintern began to produce such cars). The armor protection of the sides was made combined: 15 mm armor steel - air gap - 12 mm ordinary steel. As in the site of the type of military warehouse No. 60, the attachment of the armor to the frame made of a metal profile was carried out on bolts. To increase the rigidity of the front and back, the letters were reinforced with corners attached from the outside. These corners are characteristic only of the PL-35 armored platforms.
