Submarine S-7 (commander - Lieutenant-Captain S.P. Lisin) met the beginning of the war in the Irben Strait. Two days later, the first battle with the enemy forces took place: a boat attacked by the "shnelbot" received a lot of fragmentation holes and returned to Windavu. This boat was part of the detachment of ships, which they intended to transfer across the Neva to the North, but the Germans' exit to the Neva put an end to this venture. In the fall, the boat went out to attack coastal targets in the Narva Bay and in the winter of 1941-1942. held in Kronstadt. In July 1942, crossing the Yuminda minefield at night in the above-water position, the S-7 went to the Nor-Koping Bay to prevent the German cargo traffic through the Swedish territorial waters. July 9 came the first military success - the Swedish steamer "Margaret" was torpedoed and sunk with a load of coal. July 11 the same fate befell the Luleå ore carrier, after which the C-7 was subjected to an ineffectual attack by the Swedish guards. On August 5, C-7 returned to the lighthouse of Uzhava, where it was sunk by artillery fire by the Finnish steamship "Pohjanlahti" with a load of potatoes. On August 11 the boat returned safely to Kronstadt. The next, the last march of the submarine began two months later, on October 19, 1942. Two days after leaving Lavensari, the commander reported on overcoming the mine boundary, after which he had to take a position in the Gulf of Bothnia. More radiograms from the boat S-7 did not arrive ...
