DDS has released an interesting figure set in 1/72 scale that provide a dozen (12) European knights in full armor mounted on horseback. The set is molded in vinyl and is presented on seven parts trees - one tree of knights, four trees of horses, and two trees of weapons.

What's nice about this set is that each of the figures are in a different pose and have slightly different styles of armor. If you look closely, each of the 12 horses are also in different poses with variations in tack and battle decor. This is a pleasant contrast to figure sets from some other manufacturers that provide duplicate figures and/or horses to save costs.

If you look at all of the parts that are included on each tree, you'll note that you have enough material for a nice period vignette. Time to break out the Andrea paints and capture those colorful armor and battle color combinations.
