Based on all of Roden's earlier releases, the DH2 is very disappointing. Rudimentary cockpit detail, unacceptable visible tooling plugs on interior surfaces. This kit is quite poorly engineered. The two half fuselage was terrifically difficult to clean up...the seam on the cockpit floor is a nightmare.
I wound up removing the fabric area of the fuselsge sides, scratchbuilding the fuselage frame and replacing the plastic with Litespan. I replaced the floor with a solid card stock rectangle, and added the framing.
The rest of the kit is typical Roden, though a little soft on detail. The decal sheet is minimal, the instructions confusing and major errors in the rigging diagram. You will be directed to the box art for rigging details...it's wrong too.
A real clunker.
